About the App

Your Personal Follow-Up Engine

So every prospect hears from you, every time.

The Problem

Why Sales Sidekick?

The fortune is in the follow-up — but remembering to follow up with every prospect after every call is where deals fall through the cracks. Studies show it takes an average of 5–8 touchpoints before a prospect buys, yet most salespeople give up after just one or two. Sales Sidekick solves this automatically. Write your follow-up emails once, set your timing, and the app sends them on schedule — an entire first round of outreach plus a second round months later — while you focus on your next call. Your pipeline stays warm without any extra effort.

How It Works

What is Sales Sidekick?

Sales Sidekick automatically sends a pre-written sequence of follow-up emails to your prospects after every customer call. You set up the timing once, then add a contact and let the app handle the rest. Each campaign runs two full rounds: the First Round (initial email, two follow-ups, and a personal reminder) fires in the weeks after your call. The Second Round (three more emails) re-engages the same contact automatically months later — no manual work required.

Configuration

Sender Details Setup

Getting started is simple — no SMTP configuration required. All campaign emails are sent from [email protected]. Just enter your name and notification email in Settings and you're ready to go.

Your name appears in the 'From' field of every email your contacts receive. Your personal email address is only used to deliver reminder notifications to you — it is never used to send campaign emails.

Step 1 — Open Settings
1
Tap the Settings tab in the app.
2
Enter your full name in the Name field — this is what your contacts will see in the 'From' field.
3
Enter your personal email address in the Email field — this is where your Reminder notifications will be delivered.
Step 2 — Save & Verify
1
Tap Save to store your details.
2
Check that your name and email look correct.
3
You're all set — no passwords, no SMTP, no extra configuration needed.
How Emails Are Sent
1
All campaign emails (Initial Email, Follow-ups, Second Round) are sent from [email protected].
2
Your name appears in the 'From' display name so contacts recognise who the email is from.
3
The Reminder email is sent to your personal email address as a nudge to follow up personally — it is not sent to your contact.

That's all there is to it. No app passwords, no SMTP servers, no IT department needed — just your name and email and you're ready to start campaigns.

Automation

The Email Sequence

Each campaign sends up to seven emails across two rounds.

Second Round

Fires automatically months later to re-engage contacts who went quiet.

5

Setup

Getting Started

1
Set up your sender details (Settings)
Tap Settings and enter your name and your personal email address. Your name appears in the 'From' field of every email your contacts receive. Your email address is where reminder notifications are delivered to you. All campaign emails are sent from [email protected] — no SMTP configuration needed.
2
Set up your email templates (Templates)
Tap Templates to write your seven follow-up messages. The First Round section has four templates: Initial Email, Follow-up 1, Follow-up 2, and a Reminder. The Second Round Emails section has three more: Opening, Follow-up 1, and Follow-up 2. Use {{name}} to insert the contact's name and {{email}} for their address — they get swapped out automatically when each email is sent.
3
Add product attachments (Products)
Tap Products to create your product categories and upload a PDF or file for each. When you start a campaign you can tick which products to attach to the initial email.
4
Start a campaign
Tap 'Start New Campaign' on the home screen. Fill in your contact's name, email, optional CC address, company, and when to send the first email. You can also customise any email's subject or body for this specific contact — tap an email card to expand it. Choose the account type, set your follow-up timing, select product attachments, and tap 'Schedule Campaign'.
Your Pipeline

Managing Campaigns

The home screen shows all your campaigns with a live count of Active, Won, Lost, and Done deals across the top.
Tap any campaign to open its detail page — see the full email timeline, edit all fields, or mark the deal outcome.
Once a deal closes, tap 'Closed Won' or 'Closed Lost' to record the outcome and stop further emails.
'Cancel Campaign' stops remaining emails but keeps the campaign record visible on your dashboard.
'Remove Campaign' permanently deletes the record and all its email history — use this to clean up test entries.
Tap the pencil icon on any campaign detail to edit contact details, timing, account type, or product attachments at any time.
Pro Tips

Tips & Notes

Emails are checked and sent every minute, so delivery is accurate to within about 60 seconds of your scheduled time.
Account Type (Expert, Mid Level, White Space) is for your own tracking — it shows on the campaign detail and the dashboard filter.
Only the Initial Email gets product attachments. All follow-ups and the Reminder are text-only.
You can add a CC Email address when creating or editing a campaign. All customer-facing emails will be copied to both addresses.
Tap any email card in Templates to expand and customize the subject or body for a specific contact. Changes only apply to that campaign — tap 'Reset to template' to undo.
Use the search bar on the home screen to filter campaigns by contact name, company, or city.
Second Round timing defaults to 90/100/120 days after the initial email — adjustable per campaign.
If an email fails to send, its timeline entry will show the error message. Fix your SMTP settings and start a new campaign if needed — the scheduler will not retry.
All campaign times are stored in the timezone you select when creating the campaign, so emails arrive at the right local time for your contact.
